The Hyatt House Belmont/Redwood Shores is conveniently located near Highway 101 between San Jose and San Francisco and is situated in the Belmont/Redwood Shores area next to its own small lake.
Its beautiful location gives it a very serene feel much like the rest of the general Redwood Shores area and you feel like you've been transported off to paradise.
As I was staying with family, we got a 2 bedroom 2 queen bed accessible room which regularly went for $229 a night (before tax) for just 8k Hyatt Gold Passport points! Given that the
Chase Sapphire Preferred card offers two points per dollar on specific category spending, this worked out to a redemption given at least 6% cashback (assuming transfers over to Hyatt)! This was an awesome deal as the Hyatt House was in a pretty good location and the suites were quite pleasant as you can see below.
On top of that, a full complimentary breakfast buffet is served in the open seating area each morning.
The hotel also offers a decent evening social which included salad, chicken wings and rice, a daily soup and a cheese and deli meat platter. While it certainly wasn't the most impressive dinner I've ever had, it was a decent selection for a comped meal.
Good night and I'll certainly have sweet dreams tonight!
