Silver Cloud Inn @ Redmond

I stayed at the Silver Cloud Inn at Redmond, WA (pretty near the Microsoft campus, which is huge btw in case anyone's interested) during my visit to Seattle. Silver Cloud Inns, a group of hotels in the Pacific Northwest, offer a very simple and straightforward Silver Rewards program that lets you redeem a free room after spending a certain amount at their hotels. In fact, they even transfer 1:1 over to Alaska Airlines (min. of 3k points required). If you stay in the Pacific Northwest area often, this definitely might be a hotel to consider.

The room was quite comfortable with a decent sized bed and desk comparable to rooms at the Holiday Inn.

The vanity mirror and sink are interestingly placed outside the bathroom. The only thing I noted was the odd design of the bathroom. The toilet is squeezed in behind the door so there's very little space to maneuver inside (assuming you wanted to flail around or something inside...)

I didn't take any pictures of the breakfast lounge but hot breakfast is included in the stay which was pretty awesome! The selection was pretty complete with your usual suspects: eggs, sausages, ham, yogourt, fresh fruit and a variety of breads, comparable to breakfast buffets typically found in Courtyard Marriott hotels.
